About This Lesson

Welcome to Vectors, the third lesson in Unit 1: Math Review.

This lesson is designed to review the foundational vector concepts students will use throughout Physics 1. A strong understanding of vectors will make it much easier to solve problems involving direction, components, motion, and forces later in the course.

In this video, I compare vector quantities to scalar quantities, and introduce the proper way to state vector directions. I also introduce the concept of vector addition and work through two example problems of varying difficulty.
